Looking for a storyteller, guide, or travel consultant ?
Kattegat is a cultural history company offering expertly curated lectures, study trips, walking tours, and guided experiences at a high academic level—delivered with insight, engagement, and a subtle sense of humor.
The program spans a wide and varied range of themes, all rooted in Danish and Nordic history, and every experience is carefully tailored to the interests, background, and expectations of each individual group. Services are offered equally in Danish and English, and Kattegat welcomes both intimate private groups and larger audiences.
Founded and led by historian Kathrine G. Bjerregaard, MA in History and Philosophy, Kattegat combines scholarly depth with extensive practical experience. Kathrine teaches at the Folk University and is a sought-after lecturer for parish councils, art associations, and cultural institutions. She has worked as a professional tour leader for more than 15 years, leading journeys to destinations such as Gotland, Rome, Pompeii, and Canada for Cultours.
In addition, she serves as a private expert guide for companies, institutions, and international VIP clients, collaborating with select incoming travel agencies, including Martin Randall Travel, Context, Kensington, and others.
